The project brief called for the modernisation and extension at the roof level of this unmodernised flat.

The mansion block sits within the Maida Vale conservation area and despite limited precedent, permission was granted to build a new roof top extension and improve the roof level to make a terrace area.

The new roof extension created space for an eat-in kitchen with far-reaching views over north London.
